“Point of Entry” (POE) Whole House Water
Filters
First, we recommend that you install a high-flow Whole House
water filter where the water line comes into your home. This Whole House purifier will
reduce rust and sediment picked up from the pipes that deliver water to your home from
your well or municipal water system. This first cleaning of incoming water will protect
your appliances (hot water heater, clothes washer, dishwasher, humidifier, toilets,
showers, etc.) from the wear caused by rust and sediment in the water.

How to Choose an Undersink and Whole House Water
Filter
We recommend OMNIFilter Model U25
as your Whole House filtration system. If you have a large home or high water demands, we
recommend OMNIFilter Model BF7.
How to Choose a Faucet Mount or Countertop Water
Purifier
The "do-it-yourself" Undersink and Whole House water purifiers are designed for
easy installation – clamping a saddle valve around your cold water supply line is all
there is to installing your filter. However, if you do not want to tap into your cold
water line or if you live in a rental unit and cannot tap into the pipes, a Faucet Mount
or Countertop model is for you.
For a low-cost, entry-level purifier, the F1 Faucet Mount unit will give you great tasting water at the end
of your tap. Plus, it takes only minutes to install.
For a purifier that not only gives great tasting water but
also removes rust, sediment, odors, chlorine, lead, Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts
(bacteria), lindane (a pesticide), atrazine (a herbicide), mercury, and asbestos, you will
want to select the LN3 Countertop model.
How to Choose an OMNI Refrigerator/Icemaker Water
Filter
The R200, R300, or CCF1
Refrigerator/Icemaker filter will make your ice cubes taste great and take that chlorine
taste and odor out of your cold drinks. The only difference in the three models is the way
they attach to the 1/4" tubing behind your refrigerator. See each product page for
